Just getting into KinKi Kids? I understand that KinKi Kids' songs are awesome, and I would've uploaded hundred of songs if I were to select my favourites from KK's songs. Why don't you try listening to their solo songs too? They are equally as amazing, accompanied by distinct flavours that each Domoto have to offer.
Please note the songs on the list below are selected few and they are highly subjected to my personal likings. These mp3 downloads are ONLY for sampling purpose. If you like the song and happen to have some spare bucks, please support the artist by buying the single/album!
*phew* That took me quite a while. you can buy these from Yesasia or Cdjapan or HMV Japan.

Well, it's actually a Johnny's baseball match.
I just received an email from KinKi Kids FC about a Johnny's special event, and it turned out to be...
Johnny's baseball tournament '09 to thank the fans, day 12.13. Johnny's big meeting!
Venue: Tokyo Dome Date: 13 December 2009 Time: 13.00 - 17.00 (planned)
Tickets are limited for FC members. Each member can apply for a maximum of 2 tickets. And loooooooong procedures on how to get the tickets were written in the email.
So, I guess it's kinda another Johnny's sports day! The last time they had it was in 2003? Wow. Since, I got the notification, that means KinKi Kids will be participating in that too. I am guessing everyone will be there except for SMAP as usual. BUT with the craziness of the fans from the younger groups, especially Arashi's recently, getting the tickets will be pretty tough I'd say.
I am not going to ballot for the tickets since I will have another commitment around that period of time. Should I ballot for some and in case I get the tickets by pure luck, I can sell them and make money? LOL nah, I can't be bothered to do that.
Hopefully they'll release this plus the backstage stuff in DVD later.

The breaks for the Endless Shock will be on:
23 February, 9 March, 15 March, 13 July, 20 July, 27 July
YES! There will be some shows on the 24th of February then. I hope he will have an afternoon show! The FC application form will be sent out around the end of November.
I just realised that it will be the 10th year of SHOCK series, and next year will be 2010. Perhaps 10 x 10 = 100, hence the 100 shows? LOL.
His solo concert tour will start after SHOCK ends. I guess that will be around August/September then. And expect HEAPS of Tsuyoshi's solo activities since hubby will be massively ignoring wifey next year heh.
According to the poster, the cast will be around the same as this year's cast, which include: - Yara - Yonehana, Machida - MAD - Sato Megumi - Shonentai's Uekusa
Yay for Yara!

I came across a post in domotokyoudai LJ comm about some people from some random forum saying stuff about Swan Song being the sign that this upcoming tour will be KinKi's last one together.
I find that to be pretty funny, considering that I just read Tsuyoshi's lovely comment in his latest TV Guide interview published a few days back.
光一が「解散したい」って言わない限り、僕は解散しないです。 As long as Koichi doesn't say 'Let's break up', I will not break up with him.
Hehe, that's Tsuyoshi for you!
Maybe I should post the messages from Tsuyoshi and Koichi in regards to the release of Swan song too, but maybe a bit later since I am a huge lazybum.
Aaaaand finally.... ENDLESS SHOCK 2010 CONFIRMED!
So our dear prince has decided to start his annual SHOCK on the Chinese New Year, or it can be the Valentine's day too, I kid you not. What a busy day the 14th of February next year will be!
The show is going to last from 14 February to 30 March, and then a break, and to be continued from 4 July to 31 July. There will be a total of 100 shows, a record in the history of SHOCK. Is he trying to recreate the crazy thing that wifey has done before with his ENDLICHERI in 2006? 100 shows in a year hmm...
Anyway, I will be going to the show on the 24th of February. And first of all, I hope there will be one show or two on that day!
*waiting impatiently for the proper schedule*

My KinKi FC application forms are here yay! I was pretty worried that they could have delivered the application forms to my old Tokyo address, since the administration work in Japan can be... extremely slow most of the time.
And this is the first time I am actually applying for the tickets myself yay! In the past, my friends have always been doing me the favour *bows*

But there was something that I wasn't sure of looking at the application form.

As you can see there are 3 preferences there, but there is no space to write the number of tickets you want for a particular venue. The other paper says a maximum of 4 tickets for every venue. And for 2/more venues, you will have to use 2/more application forms.
I wasn't sure what the use of the second and third preferences was if I had to use a separate application form for different venues? So I had a look around and it was pretty hard to find the answer to that question since there aren't many questions about that.
However, I found one post in this Japanese KinKi BBS.
A girl was asking something like: I have a question about the ticket application. For example, if I ballot for 3 different venues, I will have to use 3 different application forms, is that right?
I thought to myself, just the question that I'm having in mind right now!
Somebody replied back to her: Yes that's right, it's clearly written on the paper, please read that carefully.
And then she (the original poster) replied back: Thanks for the answer! I am sorry but I wasn't sure about that, so I had to ask. When something like this happens in the future, I will ring the Johnny's office.
Randomly, some other people replied her back: If you ask the office for something trivial like this, won't this be a bother to them? Can't you read the instructions? Everything is clearly written on the paper.
And another girl (I suppose) added another one: When people ask about something that's clearly written in the instructions, I think it's better to just ignore them. If there are a lot of posts about stuff like that, it will be an annoyance to all of us. The instructions are clearly written in the language that even a primary school and middle school students can understand.
I can see where this thread is going, starting from an innocent question like that. Pretty ugly I'd say. In my opinion, isn't the use of BBS to ask questions about something that you aren't sure of? And I can totally understand the original poster's feelings by asking the 'dumb' question about something that's clearly written on the paper. For someone who is going to ballot for the first time, it can indeed be very confusing. And once you put the ballot in, there is no turning back and any mistakes would mean that you won't get any tickets. Also, the stuff about being annoyance to others etc is so typical Japanese. This is not the first time I've seen something like this. I am guessing that it has something to do with the culture over here, of not questioning others too much and simply following every single thing written on the paper. That's one thing in the Japanese culture that doesn't quite suit my personality. Anyway, I still don't understand what the difference between submitting 2 different application forms both for the first preference, and one application form for the first + second preferences. All the ramblings aside, I'm gonna apply for Koichi's birthday concert and the last one in Osaka yay! I hope I can get all of them *fingers crossed*Tonight KinKi Kids on HEY!3x and SMAPxSMAP! | | |

Damn the TV in Kansai, they didn't broadcast the Mini Ste part!
The talk was mainly about Pan chan and how Koichi has become a doting parent.
The danced to the performance! The dance has the same feeling as Birodo no yami's coreography (= yum!). On the last part, they were facing each other while singing LOL! That can be none other than fanservice for KKL fans.
Aside from the KinKi bits, there was this interesting section explaining to us about the special earphones that artists wear when performing. I guess those who haven't had a chance to work with something like this (like me) wouldn't know for sure what that thing was. Apparently those 'earmony' are worn to minimise the background voice (cheering fans) and to let them hear their own voice and the instruments of the song more clearly. The earmony are uniquely fitted to each artist's shape of ears. When making them, they had to go to this shop and had soft silicons kinda injected to their earholes, creating the shape. They cost almost 100,000 yen for a pair!
Aside from the ones for work purpose, Koichi especially made a pair to be used in private. but he said it's better not to use them since they completely block the surrounding noises and it can be dangerous.
EDIT: Video added!
